Cookie Policy

Effective September 1, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Dermasync, inc. ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our public website(s), including trydermasync.com and related landing pages (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy and applies specifically to the Site. If this Cookie Policy is inconsistent with the Privacy Policy regarding cookies or similar technologies on the Site, this Cookie Policy controls for that issue.

This Cookie Policy does not apply to the Dermasync mobile application (the "App"). The App is where Members log menstrual-cycle, skincare, and other Health Data and Consumer Health Data — all of which is encrypted and governed by our Privacy Policy and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, not by this Cookie Policy.

1. No Health Data on Our Website

Dermasync is only available as a mobile app — it is not available through a web browser. Our Site is a public marketing and informational website: it provides pricing, education about the Services, customer support information, and links directing visitors to the Apple App Store (or, when available, Google Play) to download the App, along with links to our social media channels. Because there is no login, account creation, or menstrual-cycle tracking feature on the Site, the Site does not request, collect, or receive any Health Data or Consumer Health Data — including menstrual-cycle data, reproductive health information, symptoms, medications, allergies, or photographs — through cookies or otherwise. That information exists only inside the encrypted App, as described in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We and our Service Providers also use similar technologies, including pixels, tags, web beacons, local storage, and software development kits ("SDKs"), which we refer to collectively as "cookies" in this Policy unless otherwise noted. Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them), and can be set by Dermasync ("first-party") or by a third party operating on our behalf or independently ("third-party").

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

We are building our website to be able to use the following categories of cookies on the Site. None of these cookies collect Health Data or Consumer Health Data, because the Site does not have a feature that captures that information.

4. How We Use Cookies

Consistent with our Privacy Policy, we use cookies on the Site to: operate and secure the Site; your preferences / cookie choices, measure and understand aggregate Site traffic, performance, and engagement; and market Dermasync's own products and services, measure the performance of our marketing campaigns, and attribute app downloads or sign-ups to specific campaigns. We do not use Site cookies for any purpose involving Health Data or Consumer Health Data, because that information is never present on the Site.

5. Third-Party Cookies and Service Providers

Some cookies on the Site are set by third-party Service Providers who help us with hosting, analytics, and marketing, under contractual restrictions consistent with our Privacy Policy. When set up, these will include: Cloudflare, for website hosting, security, and content delivery; Google Analytics, for aggregate Site traffic and performance analytics; Brevo, for email marketing and, where you interact with an email signup form on the Site, related engagement tracking; and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok, for advertising and campaign-attribution pixels. Because the Site never collects Health Data or Consumer Health Data, none of that information is ever shared with these providers — only ordinary Usage Data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and general engagement metrics. Third-party providers have their own privacy and cookie practices, which we encourage you to review.

6. Your Choices and Controls

Cookie banner and preference center. When you first visit the Site, you will be shown a cookie banner where you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or open Manage Cookie Preferences to choose by category. You can change your choices at any time by selecting "Cookie Preferences" in the Site footer.

Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Because this affects all cookies from all sites, blocking cookies broadly may affect the Site's functionality.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia. Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and its use for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable law. Turning off Marketing/Advertising cookies in Manage Cookie Preferences, or using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the Site footer, exercises this choice. Per our Privacy Policy, our entire Site and Services are engineered to not sell or share identifiable personal, consumer health or health data. It is all encrypted. Ordinary Usage Data (such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and engagement metrics) may be shared with advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising and marketing measurement, which may constitute "sharing" under the CCPA — exactly the choice this section lets you turn off.

Global Privacy Control (GPC). We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control signal and other browser- or platform-based opt-out preference signals recognized under applicable law. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we will automatically treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and use of Marketing/Advertising cookies for targeted advertising on the Site, without any further action needed from you, and we will display a confirmation that your signal was honored.

These choices apply only to ordinary website analytics and marketing cookies. Because the Site does not collect or process Health Data or Consumer Health Data, these cookie choices are separate from, and do not affect, the consents you manage inside the App, which are addressed in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

7. Cookie Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for varying periods depending on their purpose — generally no longer than 12 to 24 months — after which they expire or are refreshed if you continue to visit the Site. The cookie that stores your preference choice is itself a functional cookie and is retained so we can remember your selection.

8. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes become effective as of the effective date shown above. Where required by applicable law or where we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Site or another appropriate means.
